What seemed impossible to many has turned into one of the best poker tournaments in our region in recent months. Casino Rebuy Stars Bratislava organized the Rebuy Stars Special Bratislava tournament with a € 20,000 guarantee, which attracted hundreds of players to the capital.
In the largest Slovak casino, we could hear and see players not only from the domestic scene, but also from the surrounding countries. Entries to the tournament with a € 50 buy-in increased at a rocketing pace, eventually stopping at 344. After adding the add-ons, the guarantee was more or less fulfilled, with less than three hundred euros missing for its complete humiliation.
But let's focus on the game itself. Thanks to the live stream from the tournament, we were able to see a number of engaging games , several of which will be included in the group of legendary ones . It was therefore no surprise that we often heard cries of joy and amazement from the tables. It happened at the moment when the dealer landed a royal flush or later poker eights on the board.
On the TV table, Milan Bajmóczi in particular provided the biggest entertainment for a long time. With his aggressive and unpredictable style of play, he brought many opponents into despair and showed his ride on a track in a tournament. He had no problem being short ten minutes later, so that after half an hour he had the largest number of chips on the table in front of him again.
In the end, however, Bajmóczi did not come to the very conclusion. ITM positions started from 35th place. The first paid places were guaranteed € 130.
With the approaching dawn, after the dawn, several resounding names fell out of the game. Ján Bobák finished in 32nd place (146 €), Vladimír Fabok was 21st (194 €), Andrej Desset finished in an unfortunate 13th place (243 €), 11th place went to Martin Lisém (292 €).
A final table was formed before six o'clock in the morning. Each of the final participants in the tournament was sure of at least € 357 + € 99 tickets to the upcoming multi-day Rebuy Stars Special Bratislava tournament (July 16-19) with € 50,000 GTD !

An interesting poker event continued at the final table, where we witnessed many big plays or suckouts. One of them was won by Peter Koreň, who dropped out in 8th place. He was followed by Marián Lai, Maroš Juriga, Michal Babela.
The final four decided for a deal, from which they took the amounts as follows. Martin Zorňan € 1,676, Lukáš Fiam € 1,924, Ľudovít Kucharík € 1,990, Juraj Ondrovič € 2,190. An additional € 866 and a trophy were up for grabs. Almost a thousand euros and a trophy intended for the winner finally found itself in the hands of Juraj Ondrovič, who at the very end had the greatest patience and the necessary dose of luck.
During the big break, Michal Babela, Michal Šimovič, Radoslav Remiš, Matej Bahleda and Martin Floriš also smiled at the quintet, who won € 99 for the Rebuy Stars Series Bratislava tournament in the raffle.
