Daniel Caccia is one of the most outstanding talents of contemporary vocal jazz in Europe. He graduated from the Kunstuniversität Graz. He made his debut on the prestigious Mons Records, which released the CD "Lifeline" in 2015. Since 2017 he has been collaborating with Roger Cicer's big band. In 2018, he signed a contract with Universal records and recorded the CD "Alles ist New York". European critics often compare his style with Kurt Elling or Mark Murphy. In addition to flawless intonation and perfect rhythm, Daniel masters the art of singing on sound-painting syllables, the so-called scat style. As he is also a very skilled pianist, he is able not only to accompany himself but also to compose his own compositions. Cooperation with Slovak musicians has resulted in long-term pedagogical participation in projects such as the Summer Jazz Workshop or VocalEase.
